Ingredients
2lbs.lean Ground Beef
1/2large yellow onionchopped
3garlic clovesminced
1Tbsp.Italian seasoning
1tsp.salt
1/2tsp.ground black pepper
2Tbsp.fresh chopped parsleyfor garnish
Instructions
Bring large skillet to medium-high heat and add lean ground beef, let sear in pan in big chunk for a minute on each side.
Add chopped onions and garlic to pan and use a wooden spoon or spatula to start breaking up into beef into crumbles, stirring frequently to turn meat and incorporate onions.
Ensure pan is not over-crowded so that beef actually browns and doesn’t just “steam” in its own juices. Plan on 6 to 10 minutes cooking time, depending on size of skillet.
Stir in spices in last two minutes of cooking, stir in well.
Beef will beef done when no pink remains. Drain off any excess liquid.
