This post is sponsored by Sweet Earth Foods, however all opinions, content and enthusiasm remain my own!
You know that “hangry” feeling when you need a good meal NOW, but don’t want to fix anything from scratch, have no good leftovers on hand . . . and definitely don’t want to subjected to the drive-thru options? It’s not a feeling I like to embrace . . .
But, after finding Sweet Earth Foods at my local Target, my 11th hour meal plans are now a no-fail, sweet-sail into flavor town! Read on to learn more about Sweet Earth (vegetarian and vegan frozen meals) and how this great convenience company can help you eat well with loads of flavor and little effort.
So, why do I eat Sweet Earth Foods? Even though I love to cook and create recipes for my blog and other clients, sometimes I’m just done with being in the kitchen and cleaning up. Or, we have been travelling and have nothing in the house. Or, all my young adult boys have gone off in different directions in the evening and there is no point in making a big family meal. These are several reasons why you’ll find Sweet Earth vegetarian frozen meals (that I purchase at Target) stocked in my freezer.
But, also super important to me as a flavor aficionado is that Sweet Earth is “flavor-forward” company offering globally-inspired, healthy frozen meals with bold attitude. All products are plant-centric, organic when possible, and are vegetarian and many even vegan. As an athlete, I’m always worried about getting enough protein in my daily diet, especially when I eat a plant-based meal. But I checked out the nutrition labels and feel that the protein and other nutrients (like fiber) in Sweet Earth meals work well with my active lifestyle and balanced eating pattern.
One of my favorite frozen meals I tried from the Sweet Earth collection was the Pad Thai – perfectly sweet, savory and spicy at the same time and loaded with super foods carrots, bell peppers, shiitake mushrooms, green onions and garlic (plus rice noodles and tofu, naturally).
It was a welcomed relief to come home from work meeting that ran late and not have to spend time making dinner.
My kids really like the quesadillas and burritos from Sweet Earth – they can all be microwaved, but I’ve shown them how to use the panini grill to make the tortilla nice and crunchy.
Serving a platter of quesadillas (I tried the Salsa Prime Quesadilla and Mind Bender Quesadilla) is a great lunch or dinner – but also makes a great party appetizer! Just add guacamole and salsa.

How often do you eat plant-based? When is the last time you tried a frozen meal? What is the craziest thing you’ve eaten for dinner because you just didn’t want to cook? Drop a comment – XOXO, Jennifer
