Farm Fresh Beef Meat Sauce for Meal Prep with Easy & Unique Serving Ideas

One of the most popular meals in my home is spaghetti with meat sauce, and it’s safe to say it’s the hearty fuel that helped my raise up three strapping boys, now ages 16, 19 and 22. The family has a particular brand they LOVE, and if I stray or get adventurous with homemade, they groan and say . . . “it’s different.” Farm Fresh Beef Meat Sauce

However, at the request of Beef Loving Texans, I recent made the Farm Fresh Meat Sauce created by their chef and my friend, Tiffany Blackmon.  The family did say, “it’s different” but this time with their mouths’ full gobbling up more. I was pretty happy about their enthusiasm, since the sauce includes extra finely chopped veggies like zucchini, carrots, mushrooms and such. I served this beef meat sauce on pasta – and also in three other unique ways! You can read all about it on their blog post, but I want to share it here too!

Most people just think of putting meat sauce on pasta and, while that is certifiably yummy, meat sauce is also a versatile topping and ingredient in a host of other quick and easy recipes. Make a double (or triple) batch of Farm Fresh Meat Sauce (recipe below) and stock up the fridge and/or freezer. I’m ALL about beef meal prep and freezer-friendly beef dinners when life gets busy. When meal time rolls around (or make that rushes in like a late train), all that’s left to do is heat up the sauce and create any number of recipes with meat sauce — I’m sharing three ideas to inspire your back-to-school dinners!

Serve beef meat sauce over a batch of your best grits (for something different, try my Sweet Potato Grits) for a hearty, healthy meal to fill hungry bellies. Farm Fresh Beef Meat Sauce on Grits (or Polenta)

Serve beef meat sauce for breakfast, brunch or a light dinner by baking in skillet for about 30 minutes with eggs “shakshuka” style. Farm Fresh Beef Meat Sauce Egg Skillet

Transform beef meat sauce into soup by warming up 1-part sauce, 1-part beef broth, ¼-part half-and-half cream together.Farm Fresh Beef Meat Sauce Soup

Other ideas are to serve the Farm Fresh Meat Sauce with spaghetti squash, on a pizza, in lasagna, over a baked potato! There are so many easy and unique serving ideas for this beef meat sauce!

If you are planned to make several batches to meal prep beef for those busy nights, know that portions will stay fresh in the fridge for up to 3 or 4 days and in the freezer (in air-tight heavy plastic bags or containers) for 3 or 4 months.

Yum, I could eat this straight with a spoon like soup! (Another unique serving idea, lol! 😉 ) This is one of my favorite foods. How fun the wine you added, sounds delish.

There’s so many great ideas here but for some reason serving it over a baked potato sounds REALLY good to me right now. Never thought to do that with meat sauce. This is great!

I have a 16-year-old son too & he sure can put away large amounts of spaghetti! I will have to try your sauce on him. It looks so good and I love all the extra sauce ideas!
