Popularity contests, ugh. When it comes to my recipes, I personally love ALL of them, or I wouldn’t share here with you all! However, some The Fit Fork recipes suit certain diets, situations or taste preferences better than others, so it’s fair to let you have your own opinions – haha!
I culled through The Fit Fork recipes from 2018 shared here on the blog, on my Instagram and my Pinterest to round up those recipes most popular with you guys in 2018 — read on!
So, you can’t just pull up the analytics for any give platform and see which has the most views in a year to decide the most popular — mainly, that’s because recipes shared at the beginning of 2018 have had many more months to generate buzz than those recently published. So, I just did made some educated guesses about the most poplar The Fit Fork recipes based on views, date of publish, shares on various platforms, comments, star ratings and such. No surprise that Paleo recipes, Keto recipes, Sugar-free recipes and Low carb recipes were the most popular — that’s what I share most! If you haven’t tried these yet, I think you’ll love each and every one — and they are all packed with nutrients to help fuel and active lifestyle and optimize your upcoming year of badassery!
DIY Collagen Golden Milk Mix: Whip up a batch of this pantry-friendly powdered drink mix that lets you enjoy golden milk in under a minute. The turmeric helps to combat inflammation as does the added collagen (which also includes protein) – all these healing ingredients together really helps to boost an athlete’s post-workout recovery. I used collagen from Great Lakes Gelatin
A Dozen Blue Cheese Recipes for Entertaining: I think EVERYONE should love blue cheese, it adds an amazing blast of flavor to salads, steaks, pizza, eggs and more. My own special collection of favorite blue cheese recipes is sure to turn even the most skeptical into champions of blue cheese!
Healthy Homemade Bone Broth for Instant Pot: If you aren’t slurping up bone broth by now, you better get on board with this “trendy” ancient way to nourish the body. My Paleo, Keto and Whole30 friendly recipe for Homemade Bone Broth is made in the Instant Pot for maximum flavor and collagen output in the shortest amount of time. I also use a lot of turmeric and ginger to help with my ongoing inflammation. The bone broth can be used as a healing elixir or used as a nutrition boost in other recipes like soup and stews. If you don’t have time to make your own, I also am a big fan of Kettle & Fire – save 15% with my discount code THEFITFORK
Pearl Onion Mushroom Roast Beef with Sweet Black Pepper Sauce: It’s Keto, it’s Paleo and it can be prepared in 30 minutes – what’s not to love! I think we shall be having this delicious roast beef recipe at least once or twice a month from here on out!
Autumn Crunch Quinoa Salad with Apple Cider Vinaigrette: I love this easy quinoa salad featuring a cornucopia of fall’s signature flavors including dried cranberries, shaved Brussels sprouts and pumpkin seeds. Plus, it’s all tossed with a homemade, “just-whisk-in-the-bowl” vinaigrette made with apple cider. Eat it cold, room temperature or warm – it’s good every-which-way and also perfect for meal prepping.
Keto Caramel Pudding with Toasted Coconut: This Keto dessert recipe is ridiculously next level yet super easy to make. Rich, buttery and indulgent with lots of dairy products, yet sugar free – and the toasted coconut makes such a nice creamy complement alongside the creamy pudding consistency.
Sesame Ginger Shrimp Tacos with Stir Fry Veggies: This is my solution to those nights when half the family wants Chinese food and the other half votes for Mexican food – it’s fun fusion recipe that only takes a few minutes to throw together.
Easy Roasted Blue Cheese Cauliflower: Turn this humble veggie from bland to outlandishly delicious with easy oven roasted and my secret blue cheese trick. Even the kids love it.
Garlicy Cauliflower Zoats – “Zoats” are oats mixed with shredded zucchini and I’ve upped this savory take on oatmeal by adding riced cauliflower too! Yes, it’s “unique” if you are used to sweetened oats, but it’s the perfect comforting meal or side – you get whole grains and lots of veggies!
Paleo Protein Baking Pancake Mix with Recipe Ideas: Meal-preppers, mix-makers, and DIY-ers, let me have your attention! This homemade paleo pancake mix is ahhhh-mazing, it solves so many of life’s problems – hunger, lack of time, boredom, and so on. Make a new exciting dish every day using this paleo baking mix – everything from a zillion flavor takes on pancakes, muffins, mug cakes and more. It’s a DIY mix that is perfect for stocking the pantry! I used a plant-based paleo protein
If you’ve tried any of these The Fit Fork recipes, let me know! Otherwise, I’d love to know what your healthy eating intentions are for 2019 and which, if any, of these popular paleo, keto, sugar-free or low carb recipes you’d like to try first! Please share in the comments – XOXO, Jennifer
