When it comes to holiday decorating, let your taste guide your taste! Today, I have rounded up a collection of my favorite holiday recipes and Christmas food that can also double as edible food wreaths. FOOD WREATHS, I tell ya, beautiful decorations and holiday centerpieces that you can eat! Easy to make, even easier to devour, these edible wreaths may not feature boughs of holly . . . but are sure still to make your guests jolly!

Pin it for later!
Watermelon Wreaths and Ornaments: Slice a personal-sized watermelon crosswise into 1-inch thick discs with the rind still on. Use a biscuit cutter or upside-down drinking glass to cut out a circle from the middle. Decorate with dollops of yogurt decked out with clusters of mint, berries and pomegranate arils. Waste not, want not;use the punched out watermelon wreath “circles” to make edible ornaments for your fruit plate. Check out this post for other festive holiday fruit ideas.
Pomegranate Guacamole Wreath: Elevate this avocado recipe favorite by bespeckling the rim of a round bowl with pomegranate arils and snippets of fresh herbs for a guacamole wreath. The subtle pop of sweet makes a lovely touch to this festive and unique guacamole recipe. Serve with red and green tortilla chips or veggie sticks/slices. This one is about to hit Litehouse Food’s blog, so stay tuned.
Citrus Cranberry Tea with Holiday Ice Ring Wreath: This holiday entertaining idea is a must-make, why?! Not only is it a flavorful, festive beverage that goes so well with all your Christmas food, but also doubles as a stunning. simple and super budget-friendly centerpiece suitable for any Christmas or winter holiday celebration. Total cheater tip: My brunch event didn’t last long and I actually fished out the ice ring with tongs, set it back in the bundt pan mold with a little more juice-tea mix to use it for the next party!
Italian Roast Beef Crescent Ring – I first made this showy sandwich recipe for my lil sweethearts at Valentine’s Day and shaped like a heart. But, this meaty, cheesy, roll-wrapped, casual holiday entrée recipe is easy to replicate into a round-shaped wreath. You can use leftover slices of holiday roast or deli cuts for this causal holiday entree.
Cherry Blue Cheese Spread Wreath: This is simply my easy appetizer recipe (4 ingredients) for Blue Cheese, Cherry & Pistachio Spread that I’ve molded into a small wreath and garnished with additional cherries and herbs on a bed of spinach. To mold into an edible wreath, lightly spray ramekin with oil. Add spread and let set up in fridge for a couple hours. Use knife to loosen around edges and invert onto serving plate. Use bottom of drinking glass to slightly flatten down and a shot glass to cut and remove the center wreath portion.
Tangerine Pomegranate Spinach Salad: Whether you are serving family style or plating individually, a simple spinach salad festooned with fanned out tangerine slices (use the seedless kind like Cuties or Halos) and sprinkles of Pomegranate makes a special touch for your healthy holiday entertaining (and ensures that the little ones are getting their proper servings of fruits and veggies). For the grown-ups, add blue cheese or feta cheese crumbles!
