I have been a fan of Snap Kitchens for a couple years, I love how their clean “comfort food” makes my life easier, healthier and tastier. Now, instead of running in and grabbling breakfast, lunch or dinners individually, I have been using the new subscription meal plan from Snap Kitchen – it’s a great solution when trying to meet a nutritional goal, or when time to plan, shop and cook is scarce. Plus, I love how Snap Kitchens tasty food, with an abundant variety of proteins and veggies, makes healthy eating something I actually look forward to and can stick with.
Currently there are 35 Snap Kitchen locations across Austin, Houston, and Dallas/Ft.Worth . . and Philadelphia, PA –you can save $20 on your first meal plan subscription by signing up HERE and using code SNP-2482 at checkout.
Check out this video from a past trip last year to Snap Kitchens, before I was on the Camp Gladiator Meal Plan and was buying a la carte – I loved it then, and now I love it even more! Here’s why!
*Note: Menu items shown in video are subject to change.
Real Food: Snap Kitchens doesn’t use artificial flavors, artificial preservatives, artificial sweeteners or anything fake and funky. Meals and snacks are made from wholesome foods with non-GMO and gluten-free ingredients. Check out their “Clean Eating Manifesto”
Tasty Meals: Trust me, I’ve eaten plenty of “fresh” made meals from similar services that left my taste buds sad and unsatisfied. But, I’ve never, ever had eater’s remorse from a Snap Kitchen meal, other than wishing I bought the large serving rather than medium (haha). Right now, my favorite is a tie between the Naked Beef (because it is simply delicious and the name makes me giggle like a middle schooler) and Spinach Goat Cheese Scramble — but every thing is good!
Dietician-Designed: Snap Kitchen Meal Plans take the guess work out of meeting your body’s nutritional needs. Select your daily calorie target and the food tribe you ascribe to, and then a menu of suggestions is presented. The customizable plans are designed to suit dietary lifestyles like high protein, low carb, paleo, and Whole30 – there is even a Camp Gladiator plan (which I’m doing) that offers a nutrient mix to help optimize performance and recovery for athletes.
Customizable: While, the weekly menu from Snap Kitchen meal plans is suggested based on your calorie needs and selected dietary category, you can always change your category, add to, remove or customize any way you see fit. It IS your meal plan after all and only YOU know what your body needs. Some times I take the suggestions as-is, other times, I switch it up like crazy based on my training goals and taste preferences of the moment.
Save Money: You’ll save 5% to 15% on items in your Snap Kitchen Meal Plan order compared to the price you’d pay if you walked into the store and bought items. The more you order, the higher your savings rate. Plus, in my opinion, using a meal plan is a really smart option if you are just need meals for yourself – no more stuff rotting in your produce bin or big recipes going to waste (or dying a slow death in the freezer). Plus, FREE delivery in certain zones . . . now that’s saving time, gas, and sanity!
Snacks and Drinks: Not only are there dietician-curated meal plans, there are also sensible snacks and drinks that are designed to fit into your weekly goals. This will help steer you clear from bad choices at the convenience store, drive-through or office break room. Some Snap Kitchen snacks are made in-house (like humus or deviled eggs), others are healthy brands that you likely already use and trust. You’ll save 5% to 15% on these, too!
Flexibility: Snap Kitchen Meal Plans are super adaptable to your needs, sign up for a 3, 5 or 7-day plan. But, from here you can drop or add meals – this is great if you know you don’t really need a meal or two due to social events or work obligations. And, of course, you can also skip a week or cancel at any time.
Accountability: Using a meal services creates accountability that can’t be replicated as easily on your own. Even with good intentions, things end up in my shopping cart (and eventually in my mouth) that I hadn’t “planned” on eating. Knowing a fresh, healthy meal is waiting for you in the fridge after a busy day will help you tame being hangry or grabbing bad choices because nothing else is around. Also, Snap Kitchens sends weekly reminders and encouragement about your plan – and if you need more accountability, I’m always here to support everyone on their health and wellness journeys.
Check out the new Snap Kitchen Meal Plans and try for yourself – you can save $20 off your first order with promo code SNP-2482 at checkout and can cancel any time thereafter (although I seriously doubt you will want to).
Naked Beef is one of my favorites, that’s no surprise!

Wow! I have never heard of Snap! Kitchens before but the food looks great! I need to tell my family about it as they live in the Philly area.
It’s really good, and so much variety! all gluten-free and non GMO with choices to fit whatever style eating pattern you follow – eg vegetarian, paleo, whole 30, balanced, etc
I’ve never heard of Snap Kitchens but what a great idea. so good for portion control.
They are mainly only in Texas, but out of all the similar services i’ve tried, I like them best. And, every time I go pick up the food, I’m like WOW this is a TON of food for the calorie plan I’m on
