Have you ever shown up at a holiday party, office event, potluck gathering or even hosted your own shindig and been that person who brought the way too healthy appetizer to share? As a typically clean-eating, food-as-fuel sort of girl, I’ve been guilty of that. It was the dish everyone avoided like getting the flu on Christmas Eve, another holiday tragedy I wish not to repeat. In the spirit of “let’s live a little,” I’m sharing my recipe for Pull Apart Bacon Blue Cheese Bread.
No one can resist the flavor bomb which comes from piling bacon and blue cheese on cut-up, buttered-up biscuits. I ran all the miles and lifted all the weights this year, and I don’t feel one bit regretful about incorporating this easy appetizer into my holiday entertaining (and eating) plans. I noticed that guests didn’t seem to mind Pull Apart Bacon Blue Cheese Bread either, not one little (bacon) bit! Read on to get the quick and easy cheese bread recipe:
If you’ve ever made “monkey bread,” you’ll be a pro at this Pull Apart Bacon Blue Cheese Bread recipe. In fact, you’ll be a pro even if you’ve never baked a thing in your life, it’s just that stupid simple. Pull out a pie dish and round up some bacon, refrigerated biscuit dough, butter, blue cheese and Italian herbs. Really almost no need to print out the recipe (but please do), just melt butter in pie pan and stir in herbs; cut up biscuits and toss around in butter. Top with blue cheese and cooked bacon crumbles; and bake for 20 minutes -voila!
BTW, I originally made this recipe for Litehoue Foods and incorporated their Blue Cheese Crumbles and Instantly Fresh Italian Herb Blend – two products you need in your life!
BTW, if you are looking for another blue cheese party pleaser, my recipe for Lightened Blue Cheese & Fire Roasted Tomato Queso is always a popular dip for chips and veggies.
Dig in and enjoy and send me a pick of that cheesy grin on your face! BTW, what dish you you beeline to first at a party? Sweet or savory or both? Please share in the comments – XOXO, Jennifer

Yummy! This is an ideal idea for a party dish. Anyone bringing this kind of food is definitely the boss. Excellent recipe which I am definitely going to try, without waiting for a party. 😉
