How More Efficient Protein Powder Can Help Optimize Performance

I am all about making my personal world more efficient so that I’m set up for success in all areas of life including optimizing my time, optimizing my money, and optimizing my health! I’ve been known to run to the gym to knock out cardio before strength-training, I “Marie Kondo’d” the heck out of my sock drawer, and I’m all about meal prepping to stock the freezer, fridge, and pantry with foods that support my active lifestyle. All these life hacks save time, save money, and support my physical and/or mental health! How Prohydrolase is helps me digest protein better to optimize my workouts and recovery

You know another thing I’ve got working for me? Optimizing how various types of protein supplements can benefit my body thanks to ProHydrolase. ProHydrolase is an ingredient found in some protein supplements that has been proven to increase digestibility, thusly increasing the potential for muscle-building and muscle-recovery. Read on to learn more about my experience with ProHydrolase:

Protein supplements that don’t work, ain’t nobody got time for that! Can’t really phrase this more delicately, so I’ll just blurt it out – a lot of these protein powders we’re taking in aren’t broken down very well in the digestive system and we just end up pooping it out! That’s just flushing time and money down the drain, LOL!

But seriously, using protein powders, bars, shakes, and other products that feature the ingredient ProHydrolase is the way to make the most of those gains we are working so hard to achieve. It’s proven to maximize the benefits of protein by breaking down larger peptides before hitting the intestines and also allowing more amino acids to enter the blood stream. Here’s a super-short video that explains it well:

Initially, I was a little skeptical – it’s just in my nature to raise an eyebrow and ask a zillion questions about the food and health supplements I’m putting in my body. Once I learned ProHydrolase is non-GMO and Star-K Kosher certified and checked out all the science and clinical studies standing behind it, I decided to give it a try for a couple weeks to see how it reacted with me.Reading labels, looking for protein powders featuring prohydrolase

Note: Just so you’re not confused, ProHydrolase is not a direct-to-the-consumer product that you’d grab off the shelf and then mix into your foods, but rather an INGREDIENT that is incorporated into an array of protein powders, protein bars, and other protein supplement products. This means, you’ll need to do a little research and read labels to make sure you’re using a protein supplement containing ProHydrolase. I easily found products on Amazon.

Anyway, I used a protein powder featuring ProHydrolase for about 14 days and didn’t necessarily notice that I was becoming a she-hulk with muscles on muscle, but I did notice that I felt much more recovered after my workouts with less fatigue and soreness – leading me to assume that I had improved the bioavailability of the protein powder (with ProHydrolase) I was using.  I didn’t taste it or smell it or notice a texture – it blended seamlessly into the flavor profile and user experience of whatever I made with my protein powder.Feeling less bloated using protein supplements that feature the ingredient Prohydrolase

Raise your hand if it feels great to not be bloated!

An important thing I noticed was that I didn’t feel as bloated any longer. I have always scratched my head at how clean I eat, yet often sport a bloated, distended belly with my six-pack abs on top. How is that even possible? Now I realize that my previous protein powder and protein bars of choice (using whey proteins) were probably not breaking down early enough in my digestive track and were the likely culprit of said bloating, cramping, and other discomfort. ProHydrolase breaks protein supplements down into the smallest composition to ensuring easy, comfortable, and optimized digestion – and I definitely noticed improvements!  And, it’s effective on various forms of protein, including my whey . . . but also soy, egg, casein, hemp, and pea.

After two weeks of using a ProHydrolase-enhanced protein supplement, I felt well-recovered from my training and strong and fast through the event.

This is my final thought – if you’re going to take on the time, trouble, and expense of working out, striving to be your best, and leading an overall healthy lifestyle that is fueled (in part) by protein supplements, you shouldn’t squander your precious resources on products that are not optimal … not efficient. I mean, why would you (meaning me – haha) put more thought into creating sock drawer efficiencies than you would put into using a protein supplement that optimizes the benefits to your body?

How More Efficient Protein Supplements Can Optimize Performance: I've been using protein powders, shakes and bars featuring Prohydrolase -- an ingredient that helps improve the digestibility and efficiency of protein supplements. This is great news for workout gains and recovery. #ad

I highly suggest switching to or starting a protein product with ProHydrolase as an ingredient and let me know what you think! You can search ProHydrolase on Amazon to find some. Did you notice easier workout recovery and gains and/or lessened digestive issues? Drop a comment, let me know. – XOXO, Jennifer
